Amazon DynamoDB is used by over a million customers and handles hundreds of thousands of requests per second for many of them. Global tables provide multi-Region, active-active replication with up to 99.999% availability, distinct from self-managed options like Cassandra or MongoDB. SDKs are available for major languages including JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, and .NET.
